Job Description: 

POSITION SUMMARY & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop and refine strategies that drive business expansion into competitive markets, ensure sustained revenue and profit growth during economic challenges, and support overall corporate decision-making to achieve organizational objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Variance analysis of OB vs PY vs Last budget (Power BI Dashboard).
  • Financial reconciliation with OEMs/open invoices closure/GST matter.
  • Facilitating price negotiations like inflation/EPR recovery etc.
  • Facilitating planning and execution of the annual operating plan for business units & functions that address corporate strategic imperatives.
  • Understanding the business needs and identifying initiatives that will allow a business to meet those strategic goals.
  • Support in forecasting monthly/annual sales and revenue targets & driving initiatives to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure that profitability targets are met and support the solutions for operational issues that may impact revenue and profit.
  • Price provisioning report to finance on monthly basis.
  • Tracking of RMI through Crisil report and drafting letter for submission to OEM.
  • Competitor analysis (Supply/Pricing) to support in implementation of the strategy.

Key Areas:

  • On-time and accurate submission of Reports
  • On-time submission of the variance analysis of OB vs PY vs Last budget (Power BI Dashboard)
  • Ensure that profitability targets are met.
  • Facilitating price negotiations like inflation/EPR recovery etc.

Global/ Region/ Local Initiatives

Participate in Regional / Global conferences, Supply Chain Conferences, Collaborate with VP BSAPIC for improving the efficiency & synergy in BSID LSCM operations. Contribution by driving the global projects. 

  • Prepare and submit reporting requirements and needs when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in business planning, forecasting, or financial analysis, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of strategic business needs, sales forecasting, and profitability management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry research agencies (SIAM, FADA, Crisil, IHS) and experience working with OEMs and handling RMI reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Expertise in expense budget preparation, control, and driving initiatives to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Communication & Coordination: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Time Management: Strong problem-solving ability with a track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
