POSITION SUMMARY & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manufacturing Finance Controller will be responsible for managing financial processes related to manufacturing operations, including cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role will work closely with manufacturing and senior management to optimize financial performance, improve cost efficiencies, and ensure the alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.
Key Areas
- Consolidate, Track, Report and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) considering goals and financial standing. Build relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business, and externally as required, to assist in facilitating data collection and analysis
- Provide detailed data analysis on Plant KPIs relating to DMLR, OE Efficiency, Scrap and Waste reports etc.
- Preparation of COPQ report
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Project Financial Evaluations (Expansion + Tyre development), Process Review, analysis and Bench marking.
- Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
- Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Lead from the front through collaborating with team across BSAPIC & India to drive and implement change and achieve results
- Monthly review of the manufacturing expenses, Analysing the variances.
- Capex Review and Post capex evaluation
- Physical Verification of the fixed assets
- To harmonize the plant practices
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and analyze section-wise cost per kg, enabling better operational and cost visibility.
- Ensure close alignment between Plant, Procurement, and Costing teams for accurate raw material–level Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Analyze under‑ and over‑absorption variances driven by cycle time differences; work with plant teams to improve the accuracy and reliability of cycle time data.
- Support Plant Team and Finance teams in reviewing inventory across plants under various categories, including assessing inventory usability, inter‑plant transfer opportunities, and optimizing overall inventory utilization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Overall Experience of 10+ years in tyre industry-Mfg department
- BE(+CMA/MBA-optional)
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem solving
- A sense of urgency and an urge to create an impact and make a difference
- Impactful communication skills with an ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Good knowledge on managing Tools in Finance will be an advantage
- Proficient in presentation, reporting, spreadsheets, MS Office
