About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Despatch Clerk to join our warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the despatch office, coordinating distribution activities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Distribution Coordination
- Coordinate daily distribution and delivery runs
- Answer incoming calls and follow up on customer enquiries
- Ensure warehouse documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained
- Complete all warehouse administration tasks efficiently
- Distribute and file paperwork
- Liaise with carriers regarding loads and pick‑ups
- Coordinate courier services
- Provide high‑level customer service at all times
Inventory & Consumables Management
- Verify transport/freight invoices and delivery dockets
- Complete freight management documentation and attend to drivers
- Comply with cancellation procedures and liaise with the National Customer Service Centre
- Monitor and maintain stationery and consumable stock levels
- Coordinate proof‑of‑delivery processes
After‑Service Care
- Coordinate and deliver stock requirements (tyres/rims) for OE fitment
- Assist with monthly stocktakes
- Maintain accurate despatch records
Reverse Logistics
- Coordinate customer returns in line with the Goods Return Policy
- Process new tyre returns for customer credit
- Manage warranty tyre returns for Technical Field Services inspection
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confident liaising with carriers, drivers, and internal teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not essential)
