About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, go-getter who thrives in an energetic and fast-paced environment to join us as a Communications Coordinator- Corporate Affairs. This is a diverse role supporting a dynamic team across corporate communications, PR, sustainability, partnerships and event coordination.

You’ll be the kind of person who enjoys being busy and rolling up your sleeves to get stuck in - one day helping coordinate logistics for major events or motorsport activations, and the next day drafting engaging content and supporting team admin requirements. You must be flexible and adaptable to a varying workflow based on events and business needs – each day differs from the next!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Content & PR: Assist with media monitoring, drafting media releases, and updating the Bridgestone ANZ newsroom
  • Partnerships & Events: Support the execution of corporate partnerships and coordinate logistics for events and motorsport activities
  • Internal Comms: Maintain company intranet and support content development.
  • Sustainability: Coordinate volunteering opportunities and support company sustainability initiatives
  • Team Administration: Manage daily administrative tasks including travel bookings, invoice processing and merchandise sourcing
  • Creative Coordination: Handle diverse and creative tasks ranging from designing office posters to coordinating events

About You

You are a hungry learner with a creative flair, who possesses a can do and upbeat attitude, and thrives within a vibrant, collaborative team. You’ll excel if you are:

  • Intuitive, enthusiastic and outgoing, with a genuine passion for communications
  • Self-motivated and willing to do both the exciting and mundane tasks
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Creative and confident at producing written content or simple visual materials, with added proficiency in Microsoft Suite

You might have a couple of years’ experience in an agency or PR/Communications role, or similar. A tertiary qualification is beneficial but not essential – attitude and eagerness to learn matter more to us!
