Job Summary

Product Process Engineering Junior Staff

Role Purpose

Support and drive stable, capable, and efficient manufacturing processes by designing robust process conditions, issuing controlled process standards, and continuously improving process capability, quality KPIs, and productivity.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (3 Keys)

1) Process Design

  • Support process design and optimization to meet required product qualityefficiency, and yield targets.

  • Conduct trials / process studies (data collection, analysis, validation) to confirm process stability and define robust operating windows.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional technical partners (e.g., Material Process EngineeringBSAPIC Technology Center) to validate material/process interactions and implement technical countermeasures.

2) Process Issuing

  • Convert product/manufacturing requirements into controlled documents such as Process SpecificationWorking Standard

  • Maintain document control including revision management, change communication, and shopfloor deployment to ensure consistent execution.

  • Prepare and update process-related evidence and documentation for internal/external audits.

  • Develop and update training materials and support training activities for consistent process operation.

3) Process Capability Improvement

  • Monitor key process and quality performance indicators (e.g., ScrapRework/Work-offYieldEfficiencyProcess Stability) and support improvement prioritization based on data.

  • Monitor quality KPIs and drive corrective and improvement actions based on data and root-cause findings.

  • Apply structured problem solving (e.g., 5 WhysFishbone/Ishikawa) and standardize lessons learned for reuse across the organization.

  • Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and rework, while improving yield, efficiency, and overall process stability.

  • Support defect and loss follow-up, including preparing defect-related information, tracking actions to closure, and reporting progress.

 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 1–3 years’ experience in process engineering (Tire manufacturing or Automotive business preferred).

  • Understanding process capability, variation reduction, and KPI-based improvement.

  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation (Process Specification / Working Standard / Work Instruction).

  • Strong collaboration skills with teammates and can work under high pressure.

 

Preferred (Nice-to-have)

  • Familiarity with SPC and process trials; basic data analysis skills (Excel/VBA/Power BI/Power Apps/Power Automate is a plus).

  • Experience supporting internal/external audits and standard deployment.

  • Experience in tire/rubber manufacturing or related industries.

 

Skills

Special Abilities / Skills / Language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, BVA and Power BI.

  • Knowledge of PowerApps is preferred.

  • knowledge in statistics and engineering.

  • Has skills in data collection and analysis.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

  • Knowledge of machinery and materials.

  • English communication skills (writing and speaking) are preferred.

  • Minimum TOEIC score of 450.
