Job description
🔩 Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
🔩 Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
🔩 Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/production to ensure timely replenishment.
🔩 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier contracts, and delivery schedules.
🔩 Evaluate supplier performance and build long-term relationships with reliable vendors.
🔩 Work with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to understand purchasing requirements.
🔩 Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies or delays.
🔩 Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative products.
🔩 Assist in cost reduction initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
🔩 Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations in all purchasing activities.
