About the role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager SA/NT, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving all sales and profit related objectives within their designated territory. This will be achieved by establishing and maintaining solid relationships across your responsible Consumer and Commercial customer portfolio, creating avenues to ensure customer retention, high business share within our dealer network and ultimately providing value to all customers.

As an Account Manager, your role will be to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality services and products. You will be responsible for developing relationships, providing value to our customers, and achieving sales targets.

With an ability to identify solutions to meet our customer requirements, you will provide superior service through developed multi-tier relationships both internally and externally.

You will use a variety of methods to support customers including on-site inspections, analysing reports, providing product and maintenance recommendations, identifying new business needs from within our existing customer base and securing new business opportunities.

About you

You are able to demonstrate credible, robust sales experience and the talent and tenacity we need to drive growth and take Bridgestone to the next level.  

To be able to perform this role successfully, as a minimum you will demonstrate:

  • Sales and territory management experience
  • Tyre Industry knowledge preferred, however not essential
  • Effective relationship management focusing on creating and sustaining multi-tier relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong negotiation skills ensuring balanced outcomes for the business and customer
  • Great problem solver with a proactive and analytical approach
  • The ability to recognise, develop and secure growth within the existing customer base
  • The ability to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Capability to embrace and promote new technology
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and in writing, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Efficient knowledge and utilisation of the Microsoft suiter of products and an understanding of ERPs.
