Job Summary
The incumbent will play a crucial role in supporting the regional consolidation and Regional Head Office (RHO) entity financial reporting / FP&A to provide high quality financial management reporting to the RHO management covering actuals, forecasts, budgets and plans. This role will work closely with all Finance team and all departments in RHO as well as Group Companies (GCs) Finance in providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support business leaders in the decision-making processes and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and driving financial excellence throughout the China and Asia Pacific (CAP) region.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Management Reporting and Financial Planning cycles, including long-term strategic planning and periodic forecasting forecast, budget and Mid Term Plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and comprehensive budget and forecast.
- Consolidate financial results and analyze financial performance of all companies and product group/channel in CAP Region for Actual / Budget / Forecast.
- Timely prepare accurate financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and highlight potential risks or opportunities for CAP Region.
- Liaise with group companies finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financials reporting into group consolidation system.
- Analyze Factory cost and verify Factory Cost Variance specially to visualize the impact from production volume and export volume on P&L.
- Develop financial modelling and scenario analysis to support Management decision-making timely. Deep dive into detailed analysis as required on case-by-case basis.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial planning and analysis tools, systems, and processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the FP&A function.
- Responsible for the analysis of Working Capital, Cash Flow, Return on Invested Capital for BSCAP region in Actual/Budget/Forecast.
- Collect and summarize CAPEX and Strategic Resource spending. Verify variance between actual spending compared to budget.
- Support all ad-hoc analysis related to FP&A function and Management’s request as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Professional Accounting Qualification or its equivalent discipline.
- At least 6-8 years of proven experience in the commercial accounting and/or FP&A. Experiences in working in MNCs, especially with the exposure to APAC region would have added advantageous.
- High proficiency in MS Excel technical skill is mandatory. Experience with Power BI tool and/or financial analysis tools/software (e.g. SAP) is preferred.
- Understanding Manufacturing cost controlling and Management accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret financial data, draw insights, and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong initiatives, organized, meticulous and detail in figures.
- Fluent in English writing and communication, with the ability to convey complex messages to a diverse audience.
- Strong planning skills and well organized.
