Job Summary

Work Location: Singapore, reporting to Head of Marketing & Solutions, Bridgestone China & Asia Pacific. Scope: China & Asia Pacific region.


  1. Market Strategy Development & Deployment: Initiates strategic topics and collaborates with operating companies within region to develop & drive key strategic initiatives in line with business & brand growth. This includes the study, ideation & alignment of go-to-market topics that includes & not limited to product performance, channel development, marketing effectiveness, supply chain issues, OE recursion, consumer behavior and pricing & profitability.
  2. Market Research
    • Research Design: Understand business/ brand objectives and design appropriate tools/ approach to generate required information. Evaluate program methodology and validate key data requirement.
    • Market Analysis: Provide competitive analysis & identify market trends based on various companies’ market offerings, economic/ industry data, pricing/ business models, consumer preferences and technology changes. Establish/ validate model for market sizing and demand forecast.
    • Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis on multiple data sources, including internal data, surveys, customer database, online and other secondary research. Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations.
    • Data Collection & Visualization: Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace, and visualize information in actionable items, reports and presentations.
    • Consumer & Customer Research: Execute research to better understand and meet current & changing needs of our customers/ consumers, such as customer segmentation, usage & attitude, buying behavior, customer satisfaction, and brand preference.
    • Insight Generation: Generate insights and validation to support business, product development and branding initiatives. Measure effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies. 
  3. Project Management: Manage projects from conceptualization to execution.
  4. Subject Matter Expert (SME): Provide SME advice and review of strategy & research projects done in the Asia Pacific markets.
  5. Transversal Responsibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline..
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Market Research & Strategy, or consulting preferably across Asia markets, exposure to automotive industry related research is a plus.
  • Demonstrates skills in statistical analysis and survey design.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with both qualitative & quantitative research methods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Operates independently, demonstrates resilience and thrives in uncertainty.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to manage prioritization logically.
  • A Team player who is proactive and well-organized in providing consistent, high-quality output in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in MS Powerpoint/ Excel, database and data visualization tools (like Tableau).
