Job Summary

The Regional Brand Marketing Lead will play a vital and strategic role in owning the full cycle of Brand Marketing, including development & deployment of brand strategy, transforming insights into business and marketing solutions, and development of communications, digital marketing and channel marketing strategies, for the Asia Pacific and China region.


The role will help prepare the organization for the future and deliver transformative marketing & branding initiatives to achieve strategic competitive long-term growth.


Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Brand Strategy & Deployment
    • Develop & deploy brand strategies to meet growth objectives, support business alignment, and to achieve goals in market share & operating profit.
    • Lead cross-functional groups across Regional and Country teams to execute brand plans, new product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.


  • Market Intelligence & Consumer Insights
    • Provide directions & expertise in consumer/ customer/ market understanding and research.
    • Transform insights into business and marketing solutions.
    • Identify emerging business and technology trends. Identify and activate growth opportunities for Bridgestone products, services and solutions.


  • Communications & Campaigns
    • Lead design and coordination of regional campaigns, PR, events and other marketing efforts to deliver on brand positioning and business goals.
    • Lead deployment of effective regional integrated campaigns and best-in-class communication concepts aligned with KPIs, target audience, brand values and positioning.
    • Ensure tracking and reporting of results.
    • Identify synergies on marketing spend – opportunities, scale, impact analysis, media spend etc.
    • Ensure regional compliance of Bridgestone brand standards.


  • Digital Marketing
    • Lead and implement Digital Marketing strategy and plans in line with the global and regional priorities and guidelines, and in step with latest trends & consumer needs.
    • Lead and engage key stakeholders to develop strategy for regional platforms, and monitor performance of local markets.
    • Drive regular measurement and reporting against performance of all digital marketing campaigns to identify opportunities and areas for improvement


  • Channel Marketing
    • Ensure compliance to Bridgestone brand standards in retail visual identity, and lead effort to keep retail standards modern & updated
    • Work with in-country teams to develop effective strategies to support local demand and retention efforts
    • Provide market-specific retail service and shopper experience improvements to drive in-store sales


  • Leadership/ People Development
    • Supervise & coach regional brand marketing team
    • Improve marketing capabilities of regional team & broader in-country marketing network.
    • Build cross functional teamwork, inclusion, transparency, respect and trust


  • Degree holder, with at least 10 years of relevant Brand Marketing experience and 3 years of leadership management experience.
  • Current/ previous experience working across Asia Pacific region in consumer goods, electronics, advertising and/ or automotive companies will be preferred
  • Strong skills in brand/ product management, marketing planning and project management
  • Knowledge of marketing technology tools and digital marketing is required
  • Experience in managing a team of regional marketing specialists
  • Language proficiency: English & Mandarin are mandatory (other language(s) are added advantage)
