Job Summary

This role provides strong support to regional consolidation and Regional Head Office (RHO) entity reporting/FP&A to provide high quality financial management reporting to the RHO management covering actuals, forecasts, budgets and plans. This role will work closely with all finance teams and all departments in RHO as well as group company finance and play an important role in providing valuable information to the business in achieving their corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting including FX analysis impact across the region
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and highlight potential risks/opportunities to Regional Head Office
  • Analyse working capital and cash flow for actual, budget and forecast as well as Exports P&L consolidation to other strategic business units in the region
  • Summarize the analysis on factory costs, visualize the impact of production and export volume on P&L with verifications from factory cost variance
  • Perform simulations to evaluate the impact of production volume changes on conversion costs and assigned accounting tasks related to Group reporting
  • Liaise with Tax team in setting up Transfer Pricing scheme with Sales companies and Japan Headquarters
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, systems, and processes and ad-hoc analysis related to FP&A functions and Management’s request
  • Maintain the profitability calculation system and uploading/processing of SAP data for the Regional Head Office.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the FP&A function.

Requirements

  • Degree in accountancy/professional accounting qualification or its equivalent
  • At least 4 years of commercial accounting and/or FP&A experience
  • Strong Excel technical skill is a MUST. Experience with BI tools is preferred.
  • Understanding Manufacturing cost controlling and Management accounting is preferred.
  • MNC experience and exposure, especially working with the APAC region
  • Strong initiatives, organized, meticulous and detail in figures
  • Fluent in English writing and communication
  • Dynamic personality with positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Strong planning skills and well organised
  • Team player and proactive attitude
