Job Summary
This position is fully responsible in analyzing the root cause of the problem, testing, and follow-up issues related to the quality and the usage of company and competitors’ tires. The accountability also includes market demand survey to provide support information and suggestions for improvement and development of product quality.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Survey tire usage conditions from dealers and customers
• Plan the trial and follow-up testing of the current and new products
• Study the efficiency and variety of the company's and competitors' products
• Track the movement of competitors' products as well as analyze the needs of the market
• Collect wasted tires information as well as supervise and carry out the analysis of tire claims for truck tire products, minibus, and truck tires (TB/LT) according to customer complaints.
• Follow up on product quality problems and present to the relevant parties for further remedial action
• Develop knowledge, competence, and skills in both professional and technical practice by participating in the training review of public media related to the tire industry that strengthen relationships in related industry networks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisors
Sub Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Bridgestone Japan and Bridgestone Asia Pacific teams in conducting follow-up testing
• Be the company’s representative in providing product introduction and product instruction manuals to those who are interested in the trade show
• Support various activities that promote sales of commercial tire sales
• Study the operation and apply it to new technology to enable faster and more accurate work
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineer, Automotive or Industrial Engineer or related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in the automotive field will be an advantage (New grads are also welcome)
• Good command in English. (TOEIC >700 scores)
• Flexible with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge regarding vehicle and tire knowledge
