Job Summary

Responsibilities

Team development and management

  • Lead China finance partnering team providing professional finance support to business, operations and corporate departments;
  • Coach and develop team members for right knowledge, skills and mindset required for finance partnering role;
  • Define the team objectives and priorities, to maximize organization’s value;

 

Business Decisions support:

  • Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams;
  • Proactively identify performance improvement opportunities in business operations through data analysis, financial insights and deep understanding to business;
  • Support and influence daily operational decision-makings by providing insightful financial and data analysis;
  • Support and influence strategic decision-makings by providing deep financial insights and perspectives; Work with management team to deliver the strategies;
  • Provide financial modeling support for complicated business decisions;

  

Daily Operations and Management Support:

  • Keep close engagement with business management team to provide necessary financial information required for business operations;
  • Interpret financial results and elaborate it concisely in audience’s language;
  • Answer the queries from HQ finance team and China management team;

  

Performance Management:

  • Lead financial performance review in business and operations management meetings;
  • Work with business leaders in managing business financial performance, by designing effective performance measurements, and tracking the results;

 

Planning and Forecast:

  • Collaborate with business and operations team to prepare rolling forecast;
  • Lead annual planning and budgeting exercise from finance;
  • Ensure the routine management reporting and consolidations accurate and prepared in timely manner;

 

Others:

  • Working with internal audit team to ensure the internal controls are effective in business and operations;
  • Act as window team for business departments in other finance related matters, such as tax, accounting

 

Global/ Region/ Local Initiatives

  • Participate in Region conferences, and special projects, where required
  • Prepare and submit reporting requirements and needs when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree qualifications or higher
  • At least 12 years of business operations and finance support working experience
  • Proven track record as a leader managing a small team
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Proficient communication skills, including English speaking and presentation;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong Data analytical skills;
  • Strong passion to business and operations;
  • High level of integrity, respect for others, persistence, and passion for success
  • Language proficiency: English is mandatory  (other language(s) are added advantage)
