Job Summary

The Finance Business Partner (assistant) manager is a vital part of the Finance Business Partnering team. This role would be responsible for executing the financial agenda for MEC and forecasts, and supports the local leadership teams with acumen business insights and financial expertise. 


  • Key Responsibility 1
    • Responsible for the consolidating and reviewing of month-end exercise, ensure variances between forecasts and actual results are clearly identified and reported to China leadership team, regional finance team, and other relevant departments;
  • Key Responsibility 2
    • Solid support to corporate taxation, internal/external control and audits, capex and cash flow review; Continuously improve financial processes and increase the transparency and quality of financial information;
  • Key Responsibility 3
    • Work closely with Supply Chain Management team for controls on logistics expense, inventories, finished goods costing etc., and provide support to projects with financial insights;
  • Key Responsibility 4
    • Drive and actively participating in planning processes to ensure the annual forecasts and rolling forecasts are prepared in a timely fashion and consistent with requirements from BSCAP and management team;


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or related field. ACCA. CIMA CPA preferred;
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant finance and/or audit experience. Experience as the group consolidator in a multi-site organization is preferred;
  • Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working autonomously by identifying issues or areas to improve and taking action accordingly.
  • Ability to work with finance in a commercial and strategic context e.g. supporting senior management in making strategic investments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with SAP and BW - reporting
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken
