Service Operations Manager

About the role
You will work onsite at our Rocklea store and lead a team to ensure safety, employee experience, sales profitability, productivity and efficiency targets are achieved. The team consists of Fleet Service Managers (your direct reports) who each have a team of Fleet Service Technicians reporting into them.
You will also develop effective working relationships with customers, store managers and internal teams to ensure a strong and cohesive operation.
- Lead skills gap analysis and coach new leaders and Technicians
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and development of Fleet Service teams
- Develop and execute service strategies aligned with customer and continuous improvement goals
- Enhance customer experience through data insights, sales support, and site visits
- Monitor and meet SLAs to ensure service excellence
- Champion safety and compliance, supporting Bridgestone’s “Perfect Safety” vision
About you
- Management experience is essential; however, a background in the tyre industry is not required
- Experience leading a team, managing and motivating employees
- The ability to develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Strong computer skills across multiple software platforms including Microsoft Office
- Certificate IV in Front Line Management desirable
