Job Summary
Engage in enhancing and supporting compliance matters for "Bridgestone Group Companies in Thailand"
Responsibilities
- Support the Compliance Manager in coordinating and planning the Governance and Risk Committee meeting.
- Being the point of contact for stakeholders for incident of risk event.
- Review, assess and report significant risks and issues identified or reported by the business in line with the incident management process and assist the business in defining and agreeing remedial action.
- Prepare risk evaluation reports. Maintain the risk register as an outcome of risk evaluation/assessment process and monitor the action plan agreed with management.
- Develop and implement effective compliance training programs/initiatives to targeted employees and monitor compliance policies.
- To provide support in investigation and recommendation to senior management.
- Coordinate with Regional Head Quarter on compliance matters and related initiatives.
- Monitor and update related laws and regulations in Thailand which concern Bridgestone’s businesses and communicate effectively to relevant departments.
- Conduct administrative litigation duties, including but not limited to, investigate the cause of the litigation, monitor, prepare supporting documents and coordinate with external legal counsels in the court proceedings.
- Conduct routine administrative works to support legal and compliance works, for example, managing the registration and records, process the purchase order and payment documents.
- Promote awareness and understanding of compliance culture across the organization
- Other tasks as may be reasonably assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, and other related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in legal or compliance field.
- Excellent command in English (minimum TOEIC Scores 870 for Listening and Reading). A candidate will be required to take the Global English Assessment Test (STEP+) via an online platform at Bridgestone’s cost, and require to score at least 1,065 on the STEP+.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a good team player with analytical thinking.
- Strong collaborative skills to leading and working in a cross-functional environment.
- Be able to travel for domestic and overseas business trips.
- Possess a driving license.
- Good computer literacy (MS - Word, MS - PowerPoint and etc.).
