Job Summary

This position will help to establish and be responsible for implementing the strategic direction of the Commercial Tire Business function (including pricing, solution business development, product planning, training & product evaluation) and fully responsible for making budget / MTP and monthly results of volume, amount and profit for REP  Commercial tire business. Through utilizing internal / external resources, the incumbent is required to lead team, distributors and generate sales volume and profit.

The incumbent will be required to lead or participate in ad-hoc projects representing Commercial tire business.


Budget – MTP Formulation / Performance Monitoring

  • Lead intelligence activities on market demand projection, competitor analysis, market trends and other variables to ensure an effective market intelligence outcome.
  • Develop marketing campaign strategies, monitor reaction from market, adjust it to maximize results within approved resources
  • Develop sales expansion strategies with sound profitability from short term to long term basis.
  • Determine and approve yearly / monthly budget to ensure business performance and minimize gap between budget and outcome.
  • Report monthly base sales performance to the management and take an appropriate action depending on the market situation.


Commercial tire solution business development

  • Coordinate distributor’s sales and engineering team to provide customized tire solutions for clients.
  • Manage end-to-end commercial business activities by assisting prospecting strategy, customer’s solution package development, contract negotiation and product deployment to achieve conversion from demands to revenue and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate with corporate clients such as big fleet or mining contractors to agree on products specification, prices and delivery.
  • Approve and deploy pricing policy for products including discounts to attain the optimum price.
  • Develop Bridgestone unique service network concept to meet with customer requirements and execute through utilizing DS’s resources.


Product Planning

  • Responsible for ensuring competitive product line up through observing requirement from market, competitors’ trend to assure budgeted / MTP target market share.
  • Monitor our product competitiveness, suggest proper marketing plan and execute proactively.
  • Responsible to control product launch through coordination with related functions and take necessary actions.



  • Develop marketing strategy to enhance competitiveness, execute with approved resources through effective and efficient viewpoint.
  • Collaborate with related functions to develop active internal comprehensive communication.


Expense budget control

  • Formulate budget / MTP expense of all Commercial Business function.
  • Monitor and manage team’s expense and take an appropriate action depending on sales performance and company profit progress.


Team Management & People Development

  • Lead the Commercial tire business team, delivering clear objectives and inspiring the members to achieve them with passion.
  • Responsible to develop a performance driven culture and reward high performer and manage underperformers. Bring high level of discipline culture.
  • Accountable for obtaining constructive feedback from the team members and other parties in order to identify ways to continuously improve performance
  • Responsible for the professional development of team members and reviewing the overall team’s fit in terms of teamwork, collaboration and performance


  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Management / Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum of 12 years’ relevant Sales & Marketing experience in a multinational, preferably within the manufacturing / auto industry
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Possess strong initiatives of past job experience
  • Strong strategic, leadership and business partnering experience, while still being hands on when required
  • Proven track record of success in driving change and achieving targets
  • A self-starter with good communication and project management skills
  • A collaborative team player working with all functional and external stakeholders
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong focus on relevance, quality & accuracy (including good helicopter view & business orientation)
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and develop team members
  • An analytical mindset combined with good problem solving skills
  • Fluent in Bahasa and English
