Job Summary

The main role and responsibility of PSD (Production System Department Manager) is to be in charge of the management of facility/equipment to support daily smooth production by building a solid SOP/ maintenance schedule.


  • To support and improvement the machine utilization rate
  • To manage the daily machine repair status and prevention activities follow up
  • Ability to plan and manage yearly dep. strategy & budget and project management
  • Well English communication skill with Headquarter for the PSD business.
  • Good capability for PSD organization efficiency management, KPI setting and people skill training
  • Prepare the annual Production System budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Operate a process for safe selection of external contractors. In conjunction with the Head of Procurement ensure all external maintenance contracts are regularly reviewed to ensure best value
  • Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions


  • Bachelor degree in aerospace/ Mechanical/ Automobile / Engineering related field.
  • At least 10 years of Equipment/Machine related field experience and 5 years in a management role, automotive related field will be preferred.
  • Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • A collaborative team player with all cross functional teams & external stakeholders and have ability to inspire others
  • High level of integrity, persistent and structure and results-driven
  • Good problem solving skills and able to provide analysis to understand root causes
  • Ability to manage the professional development of department team members
  • Language proficiency: English and Mandarin are mandatory (other language(s) are added advantage)
