Job Summary
A member of Board of Management, this position provides HR leadership and ensures HR operational excellence in Bridgestone Vietnam Sales (BSTVN).
The role-holder is responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy and solutions to develop talent, build the right culture and organization effectiveness to fulfill growth aspirations, based on solid understanding of business priorities and in alignment with regional HR functional direction. He/ she leads the HR team to deliver full range of HR support including talent attraction, talent engagement, career management and succession planning, talent development, total reward, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement, and ensures all policies and processes are in compliance with labor legislation. This includes implementing regional HR policies, systems and programs as well as proactively planning and driving local solutions to meet the needs of the business.
He/she is responsible for HR team capability development and effectiveness, and fostering teamwork, inclusion, transparency and respect.
This position reports to the Regional Head of HR Operations, with a dotted line reporting to Bridgestone Vietnam Sales MD.
Business Partnering Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership and Change Management
Partner Leadership team to develop strategic workforce plans and programs to achieve growth.
Function as a strategic business advisor and thought leader to Leadership team, to improve organization effectiveness and business growth.
Partner with Regional HR COEs to execute succession planning, executive search, talent management, change management, organizational, performance management, training and development, employee communication and compensation.
Develop and deploy processes, improve performance and support organization goals and initiatives (include HR projects).
2. Consultation/ Business Partnering
Partner Business/ Functional Leaders to anticipate business and people needs. Handle HR issues, HR policies and practices, provide effective HR advisory and solutions to achieve their operational and strategic objectives.
Plan, develop, execute, and manage employee communications and Employee Engagement Survey etc.
Delivering HR operational excellence in full life cycle of HR processes (process, data,…)
3. Transversal Responsibility
All business decisions and actions must serve and be in line with the Group’s Essence, E8 corporate commitment, principles & values, TRACE, and Our way to serve the community.
Partnering with Business & Functional Leaders to champion, communicate, inculcate, drive, promote and live Bridgestone’s Essence, E8 and TRACE principles & values

HR Operations Responsibilties
4. Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management
Utilize and manage principles and expertise associated with total rewards, compensation programs and employee benefit programs (Annual Performance, Merit, market surveys…)
Lead the Job Evaluation exercise and updating of organizational and grading structure accurately.
Reward performers/manage underperformers including performance improvement plans and other mechanisms.
Employment costing, roll out and administration of Total Rewards
5. Talent Management and Development
Apply principles and expertise associated with talent strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent career management, succession planning, talent development and talent engagement.
Partnering on performance review, talent review, talent identification, development & succession planning.
Ensure that key talents are properly identified, retained, and developed, and that succession plans are in place for key roles.
Work closely with Regional HR to deploy region learning and development programs and to cultivate a learning organization culture.
Establish in-house employee training programs.
6. Others
Work with and leveraging HR system, business processes, configuration, maintenance, integration, updates, analyses and reporting to manage core HR activities and to generate HR reports for the business and management.
Participate in Regional conferences and projects; HR reports as required.
Compliance Responsibilities
7. Employee and External Relations | Social & Labor Laws
Sound knowledge and execution of updated government regulations in relation to labor laws and employment act within the country.
Work closely with HODs on all aspects of Industrial Relations & Employee Relations, discipline, employee grievances, etc. and providing advice and support to employees on HR policies and procedures ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Responsible for statutory compliance throughout the employment life-cycle of all employees.
Administration and CSR Responsibilities
8. General administration (GA) & other CSR initiatives
Lead office Admin operations include: company schedule management, internal events, ...
Office Maintenance; Safety, 3S-5S, EHS ; Admin Support to GD/Expatriate.
CSR activities (part of Sustainability)
Requirements
1. Education: BA at least.
2. High level of integrity, respect for others, persistence, and passion for success
3. Language proficiency: English is mandatory (other language(s) are added advantage)
