Job Summary
This position provides strategic HR leadership and ensures operational excellence across all human resources, office administration and CSR functions in Bridgestone Vietnam Sales (BSTVN). The position is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation. These strategies are grounded in a deep understanding of business priorities and are aligned with the regional HR functional direction. This role also ensures that all HR policies and processes are fully compliant with local labor legislation as well as regional HR systems and policies.
The incumbent will lead a high-performing HR and Administration team to deliver a full spectrum of services, including talent acquisition, engagement, career development, succession planning, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations to meet evolving business needs. Additionally, the role is responsible for leading and implementing CSR initiatives as part of the company's broader sustainability goals, as well as managing the office administration smoothly.
This position reports to the Regional Lead of HR Operations, with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Bridgestone Vietnam Sales..
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership & Change Management
Partner with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans aligned with company goals.
Serve as strategic HR advisor to drive organizational effectiveness and business performance.
Collaborate with RHO CoEs on succession planning, talent management, executive hiring, change & performance management, employee comms, and total rewards.
Lead change management across HR initiatives to support transformation and sustainable engagement.
C&B and Performance Management
Design and manage total rewards programs (C&B, insurance) in line with regional policies.
Oversee job evaluation and maintain grading structures.
Lead performance & reward cycles: salary/bonus reviews, benchmarking, and payouts.
Coach managers in building a performance-driven culture and handling underperformance.
Monitor and manage total employment cost across the business.
Talent Management & Development
Lead workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and employee relations.
Partner with leaders on performance management and talent pipelines.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding.
Implement L&D strategies in partnership with RHR; design internal training programs aligned with business needs.
HR Business Partnering
Provide strategic HR consultation and partner with functional leaders on workforce solutions.
Lead HC planning and contribute to workforce budgeting.
Execute employee communication and engagement initiatives (ER surveys, actions).
Ensure excellence in HR delivery across the employee lifecycle.
Leverage HR systems and data analytics to support informed decision-making.
Employee & Labor Relations
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Advise on employee relations, discipline, grievances, and statutory matters.
Work closely with Legal & Compliance on risk mitigation and regulatory alignment.
General Affairs & CSR
Oversee office admin, support to MD & expats, ensure EHS and 5S standards in HCM & Hanoi offices.
Lead CSR initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.
HR Operations & Reporting
Manage HR systems and operations to enhance efficiency and insight.
Contribute to regional HR projects and cross-country collaboration.
Prepare and submit HR reports to regional/global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a HR leadership role.
- Proven HR experience in a multinational environment, ideally within automotive, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese labor law and HR practices.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational transformation, change management, and strategic workforce planning.
Skills
- Effective communicator and coach with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong analytical, project management, and team leadership skills.
