About the Role
As the Senior Partner Talent Development, you will play a critical role in building internal capability across our Retail and Commercial Operations. This includes the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions that uplift performance, strengthen talent pipelines, and support the organisation's strategic goals. You will oversee the compliance management of our enterprise RTO as well as key learning programs, including the National Apprenticeship program and act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the Australian business.
Reporting to the Group Learning & Development Manager ANZ, you will work as part of the broader Talent & Organisational Development team, shaping learning experiences that are engaging, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering blended learning programs tailored to both technical and enterprise learning pathways.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to co-create content and support knowledge transfer.
- Leading the end-to-end management of apprenticeship and traineeship programs across Australia. This includes supporting their onboarding and induction, providing mentoring, communication and site visits.
- Building strong relationships with apprentices, mentors, and operational leaders.
- Collaborating with operational leaders to ensure the technician pipeline remains aligned with workforce planning needs.
- Ensuring compliance with ASQA and other regulatory bodies.
- Working with relevant state-based training authorities to identify and secure relevant state-based funding on offer for both Employer and RTO sides of the business.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Talent and OD team to support the development of technical career pathways and associated development programs to help grow our talent from within the business.
- Driving continuous improvement and support Bridgestone’s E8 Commitment and ‘Perfect Safety’ vision.
About you
You’re a qualified motor mechanic with post-trade management experience and a passion for mentoring the next generation of technicians. You bring:
- Experience in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of training.
- A demonstrated ability to mentor and develop young technicians.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- The ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Sound communications skills both verbal and in writing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with RTO compliance, reporting and funding opportunities.
