About the Role
As part of our Human Resources team, you’ll help shape the future of learning and development across our national network. In this newly created position, as Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality training programs across Bridgestone’s operations. Reporting to the Learning Partner, you’ll coordinate training logistics, manage learning systems, and ensure compliance with RTO and AQTF standards. You’ll also contribute to the development of engaging learning resources and support our commitment to safety and sustainability through effective training practices.
This position is available until August 2026 and offers a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career with Bridgestone.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating training schedules, venues, and travel logistics
- Managing student records and compliance data in learner management systems like aXcelerate, Moodle and Safety Culture
- Generating and maintaining training reports to support compliance and decision-making.
- Managing compliance with AQTF and RTO requirements.
- Driving the internal Audit process for the RTO and prepare rectification plans to ensure compliance.
- Preparing and lodging mandatory RTO and government reporting, including Quality Indicator Data.
- Coordinating training contracts, variations, and government incentive submissions in collaboration with Apprenticeship Network Providers.
- Supporting the creation of engaging learning materials such as PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and facilitator guides, considering adult learning principles to ensure student engagement is maximised.
- Responding to frontline queries related to RTO, ensuring the provision of outstanding customer service.
- Processing invoices, purchase orders and requisitions, ordering training consumables, PPE, catering, uniforms, and office supplies.
- Driving continuous improvement in training processes and learner experience.

About You

You’re a proactive and organised professional with a strong background in training coordination or RTO operations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional learning experiences.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in RTO operations and knowledge of VET sector requirements.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable but not essential).
- Experience ensuring RTO compliance requirements are met and conducting internal audits.
- Proficiency in aXcelerate or similar LMS/SMS platforms.
- Experience in supporting the development of learning resources (e.g. presentations, guides) with an understanding of adult learning principles.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with government apprenticeship incentives and related processes.
