Job Summary

The Digitalisation Business Analyst is responsible for interpreting business requirements for the ecommerce project and, whilst liaising with internal business stakeholders and external providers, determine the best way to implement new business processes and integration points. Responsible for briefing in changes required to existing internal systems and managing deliverables to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Act as liaison between BSANZ IT, Digitalisation, ANZ Sales & Marketing departments as well as external providers in order to achieve ecommerce business objectives related to Bridgestone internal systems

  • Scope and document feasibility of various business processes and integrations to achieve business objectives in relation to the ecommerce project, with a particular focus on customer data, POS, stock, product data, price and finance.
  • Propose priorities and phased approaches to achieve business objectives.
  • Work with subject matter experts to accurately document business requirements and functional specifications on integrations and processes in relation to ecommerce transactions for an internal and external audience in a timely manner.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create user stories complete with acceptance criteria.
  • Understand the complete retail customer purchase process, including but not limited to, the online process through to instore and post purchase, for all Family Channel Network store kinds across AU and NZ.
  • As required, attend ecommerce sub project meetings that relate to a back end business processes and be responsible for any actions that involve investigation in areas as defined within this KRA.
  • In conjunction with the Digital Marketing manager, brief in the development of new processes or edits to existing internal systems.
  • Communicate accurate projected timelines for effort of internal parties.
  • Coordinate a delivery that is timely and of a high standard.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Other duties as reasonably specified from time to time.

Ensure the integrity and security of business data

  • Through careful planning and communication, ensure all master data needed for the ecommerce back end process is available and correct.
  • Where system changes are to be implemented ensure that appropriate checking mechanisms are considered so that data integrity is maintained and not compromised.
  • Security of system data is paramount and must be considered with system changes and role maintenance.
  • Ensuring internal systems and integration points complies with Australian and New Zealand statutory privacy requirements.
  • It is expected that confidentiality is maintained for all business data in line with J-SOX requirements.

Coordinate and be the key point of contact for issues within the internal ecommerce environment

  • Offer suggestions or alternative solutions to resolve new issues related to the internal ecommerce environments.
  • Identify and communicate in a timeline manner any known risks to the secure & accurate delivery of the project.

Ensure the delivery of quality ecommerce internal business processes and integrations

  • Coordinate and create test plans for ecommerce internal business processes.
  • Coordinate the appropriate subject matter experts for ecommerce internal business process and integrations UAT.
  • Coordinate the final approvals for UAT amongst designated internal parties.

Support Bridgestone vision for ‘Perfect Safety’

  • Comply with HSE instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Report all incidents, near misses and hazards.
  • Use and maintain safety devices and personnel protective equipment correctly.
  • Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures and complying with the instructions given by emergency response personnel such as emergency wardens and first aiders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, or other related field along with relevant business environment experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using SAP within either the Sales (retail) or Logistics modules.
  • Exposure to SAP projects and implementations.
  • An understanding of general accounting, supply chain, sales and business principles.
  • The ability to communicate (orally and written) with personnel at all levels along with a genuine ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • The ability to work within and contribute to a team.
  • Experience delivering to deadlines with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multitask.
  • Quick to adapt to new software.
  • Working knowledge of the retail and IT ecosystem.
