【Job Summary】
S/he will manage the end-to-end logistic activities for Bridgestone Taiwan focusing on the 4Cs: Customer / Cost / Cash / Carbon to create competitive advantage as a business purpose; other major responsibilities include the alignment, development and implementation of supply chain strategies. As a Business Leader, s/he will manage operational aspects related to this role covering service delivery (customer), people development as well as initiatives/projects across in-country..

【Job Responsibilities】
(1) Ensure optimal efficiency in warehouse/transportation operations, achieving key operational KPIs and delivering superior customer satisfaction.
(2) Manage staff training, warehouse operations, and inventory control, including FIFO compliance, capacity planning, area organization, and visual management.
(3) Oversee the development and implementation of warehouse operation & systems, ensuring alignment with product handling requirements, capacity planning, equipment utilization, inventory management, and operational processes.
(4) Regularly review staffing, workflow, warehouse capacity, and action plans to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and customer service excellence.
(5) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, enforcing, and adhering to SOPs while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
(6) Drive operational excellence in export operations, optimizing shipment and transportation routes with a focus on integrating warehousing and distribution operations.

Requirements

【Experience】
1. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in multinational organizations with a proven track record in logistics and warehouse management.
2. Extensive knowledge of logistics across retail, manufacturing, and import/export sectors, including warehousing and transportation.
【Skills】
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proficient in summarizing operations and offering actionable logistics solutions.
2. Expertise in business process mapping, operational accuracy, and quantitative analysis.
【Technical Expertise】
1. Hands-on experience in logistics management, including Genba operations, people management, and driving operational efficiency.
2. Background in Automotive or Manufacturing preferred. Certifications in Six Sigma, Operations, Inventory Management, or Project Management are advantageous.
【Regulatory Knowledge】
Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and workplace health requirements.
【Methodologies】
Data-driven approach with demonstrated experience in using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvement.
【Soft Skills】
1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with expertise in delivering and advocating for Kaizen projects.
2. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and team development abilities.
【Education】
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Advanced qualifications (e.g., Master’s degree) in Engineering, Materials Management, or Operations Management are highly desirable.
【Languages】
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential, as the role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries in the region.
【Additional Skills】
1. Proven ability to manage cost performance, execute demand and supply forecasting, and oversee distribution for a wide range of products regionally and globally.
2. Strong experience in leading sustainable strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and business process improvement initiatives across the APAC region.
