Job Summary

1. Pricing Management
▪ Ensure that Pricing Management is implemented locally within the strategic framework as set out by regional office
▪ Represent Taiwan at all APAC level Pricing meetings
▪ Understand brand margin potential, at sell-in and sell-out levels, of Bridgestone brands and competitor brands from information sourced through compliant sources
▪ Ensure pricing policies are adhered to maintain Bridgestone brands margin potential within the market
▪ Report any threat to brand margin potential to sales management
▪ Construct a sales pricing master file that translated the discount levels into invoice and net level for diverse sales channel customers.
▪ Advise sales management on the impact of pricing actions on profit
▪ Make recommendations for pricing actions to improve profit within market realities
▪ Prepare monthly pricing actions for internal approvals from management
▪ Discover improvement possibilities of profitability through price actions and mix

2. Commercial policy maintenance and update
▪ Ensure daily operation is done in accordance with commercial policy, including discount rate, bonus given out, specialist discount etc.
▪ Update commercial policy based on market trend and customer demand if needed, to maximize business growth opportunity and operational efficiency aligning long term strategic goals

3. Competitor Price List Matrix
▪ Source competitor recommended retail list prices during the year from sales or 3rd party agencies
▪ Develop a database to house all information from which reporting can be generated
▪ Develop a competitor price list matrix by size / and other needed attributes. Divide the matrix into relevant brands grouped by premium, value and budget
▪ Propose list price adjustments (up or down) based on competitor analysis to ensure the correct product positioning is maintained

4. Price Lists
▪ Regularly review and develop price list and ensure on time distribution to the sales and customers
▪ Local key user for all pricing maintenance in SAP, ensuring that all pricing information is maintained accurately in SAP at all times

5. Pricing strategy
▪ Establish Bridgestone Taiwan pricing strategies through intelligence and insights of market pricing including competitors pricing, target pricing structures, implement, regularly review and maintain the strategy
▪ Installing pricing structure within product lines
▪ Proposing pricing for new product lines and repositioning for old ones if necessary
▪ Actively support pricing for different segmentation

6. Sales discount planning
▪ Planning and conducting periodical sales discount strategy to support on PSR business target achievement ( Volume/Value/ASP)
▪ Monitoring discount bench-marking with ASP by SKU level and control the budget
